delightful fantasy romp
Not a romance, but a fantasy romp with romantic elements, The Night Holds the Moon held my interest from first funny page to the satisfying conclusion. I read this lengthy novel in one sitting, ending at 5:15 AM, because I couldn't stop. The storyline is solid, the background and story world fascinating, and the characters believable, lovable, and just plain fun.(Warning: spoilers below.)Two very different women find themselves and grow into their roles in a kingdom ruled by a decadent queen and rocked by political strife. Elzin is a lady in waiting to the queen and an unrepentant floozy, who is accidentally chosen as the Saire, or Keeper, of a magical flute that's only ever before been handled by well schooled, well bred, noble-blooded virgins. To escape the queen's fury, she goes on the road, playing the Saireflute before the common people and winning their support at the instigation of Caldan, a strange Northern count who's taken this fun-loving but naive...

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!
I'm so happy I found this book! *wipes a tear* This is excellent! The writing easily brings this story to life. The world is imaginative, fresh and original. There is the perfect amount of detail and a fast-paced plot. I'm about halfway through and loving it so much that I had to write a review. The voice of the writer(s) is bright, detailed, rich, imaginative, intelligent, funny and witty... and the characters are wonderfully flawed. Great dialogue! The whole read is like being sucked into a Mayazaki film!I read a lot of fantasy and I'm absolutely abhorred by the quality of the writing in most books. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. The writing, oh the wonderful writing! The author's voices will suck you in. I can't even tell that it's 2 people writing. It also has the perfect amount of romance, adventure, and solid plot.BUY IT! Perfect Solution for the Trailer Dweller
Or mobile home or whatever you want to call it.These hooks are easy to put in without tools, super simple to pull out and move a half an inch if you measured wrong, and DO hold a surprising weight--haven't had one fail yet and two of them are holding a metal rack from which are suspended all my hangable pots and pans.Incidentally, I found these at the dollar store for $5 and they seem to be identical to the ones that were sold on TV a while back (someone gave me a package of those and I can't see or feel any difference).

Super Hooks
I purchased these types of hooks at a home show some years ago when we lived on Long Island and used them up over the years. After moving to Midlothian Va. and having to rehang all of our wall art and pictures, I purchased two sets of these hangers from Amazon as the price was right. I can't believe the price difference from some of the vendors for this simple but amazing wire hook so shop around. I use to hope to hit a stud when hanging our wall decor, but now when using these super hooks I am hoping not to hit a stud as all you have to do is push these hooks into the wall and they hold tight and a lot of weight. And if you want to move the hook to a different location, just pull it out, move it to the new location and there is only a little hole to patch up so a dab of spackle on your finger tip and a little touch up paint and the timy hole is gone. All in all a good product, and they come under the catagory of "Why didn't I think of that" than I could have retired!!!!

actually works as advertised
I'm the type of person who always has a problem hanging pictures. Tear things up, go through drywall, etc. Big mess. Saw these when I needed to hang something, so I got a package. I was skeptical but they actually work just like the box says. Pretty amazing. Less damage than traditional hanging methods, especially for somebody like me who isn't as skilled in the area as I should be.

Take it from a couple's counselor - this book is a gem!
Hold Me Tight teaches couples how to hear their partner's deepest concerns, "are you there for me", "am I really important to you", "is our relationship secure and solid" when those concerns are expressed through criticism or content. It reminds partner's that all communications are attempts to connect, no matter how badly delivered. In this way, Susan Johnson teaches couples to read below the surface of a complaint down to the attachment need being expressed underneath. THE BEST RELATIONSHIP BOOK I'VE EVER READ!
I've read all the relationship books, even the ones by the authors whose quotes appear on this cover, and I can say with complete conviction that this is by far the best of the lot. Dr. Sue Johnson's warm, authoritative, and reassuring tone sets the stage for a whole lot of incredibly useful advice. The book gives you a new way to view your relationship and the tools to improve it, whether it needs improving or not! Her form of couples therapy is apparently one of the very few to be proven to work, and that's really the bottom line. Do yourself and your partner a big favor and buy this book! I highly recommend it.

However, this should not be confused with the notion that value investors tend to buy stocks and hold them for the long term. Buying into a mutual fund and holding it for 10 years is no longer going to deliver the same kind of expected return that we saw over the course of the last seven decades, simply because of the nature of financial markets and how complex it’s gotten. In any case, there is an article that interviews Andrew Lo from M. I. T. who claims that ‘buy-and-hold’ investors are taking more risk with the volatile market environment that we are in.
