Nice basket - but non standard size for sheets
Received the moses basket today. Nice light colored basket work, with soft lining - which has light green and brown polka dots and a green removeable foam mattress. The accompanying blanket is polyester, so I doubt I will be using it, as I'm trying to stick to cotton.The basket is quite long and narrow and I think it will be a safe place for my baby to spend her first few weeks - she's not arrived yet, but I ordered this in advance to be prepared for her arrival, as I do not have a crib yet.The mattress is quite thin foam and I've just found out it does not fit a lot of the standard fitted sheets or waterproof protective covers.The mattress measures 10" x 28" and most standard sheets and covers are 15" x 33", so are too large.I am going to order a pack of waterproof pads, which are 18" x 27" and can be cut to size and have found some cotton fitted sheets that are about the same size.There are no instructions with the basket, so...
